Vehicle Upgrade Console

Has this been released yet? I don't think I can make the upgrades for my Seatruck (specifically the depth upgrade) without it. I can build the Moonpool but haven't found a way to build the Upgrade Console yet. Have I just missed it?

You build Sea Truck upgrades in the Sea Truck Fabricator Module.

Hmm. Where does one find that? I can find the hatch to enter the Seatruck and the Upgrade Access Panel just below it, but I don't see the Fabricator or any way to get out of the driver's seat without ejecting from the Seatruck. What am I doing wrong?

You need to find fragments for the Sea Truck Fabricator section, scan them for the blueprint, then build the section at the Mobile Vehicle Bay and attach it to your cab section.

Ahhh, thank you. I'll start looking for those. BTW, can the Squidshark destroy the Seatruck in one session of chewing, like Reapers and the Seamoth?

No, it's tougher than the Seamoth. You won't be able to get it down into Squidshark territory right now anyway due to depth restrictions.

Hmm, something to test in the meantime, since it's the biggest predator at the moment...

I could see the Shadow Leviathan eating one for a snack but the Squidshark only drops your personal health about 50% when it attacks, so there's no way it could take a Seatruck all the way down in one or even two attacks - probably more like 4-5 chomps.

Squiddy does about 13-15 damage per bite to the truck, but he needs some room to get a good run on you so it takes a while to chomp through the hull.

Yeah the poor Squid Shark seems to spend much of its time rubbing against the walls in the Deep Twisty Bridges and not knowing what to do. After I got the depth module I took the cab (just the cab) down there for a visit, and the Squid Shark bit the cab once and then flailed haplessly against the wall for a while after that.

Poor thing is so cramped down there.

how i can go deeper then 425 m,i found a rly huge cave but i cant go deeper. There's no vehicle upgrade to make the module resist deeper?

Like in the old subnautica,where you could upgrade depth module mk1 mk2 etc
