Will Using Cheat Codes 'Break' the Game?

I have been trying to get an answer to this as I am thinking of using a cheat code to spawn more bladder fish.

No, it won't break anything. Unless you unlock a blueprint out of order, which might break some triggers. But spawning a bunch of fish is fine.

Many thanks Jabrwock. I would rather not 'cheat' but I am getting soooo tired of having to start new games to fix issues.

Yes, I realize the game is in early release and fixes and updates will be forthcoming. It would just be nice not to have to start a new game every day or, sometimes, twice a day.

Crystalline Sulphur is plentiful in the caves on the Rocket Island (and from the many many many (too many IMHO) Crashfish nests).

Yeah it should be fine but I would spawn less than 100 for performance reasons

And if you do, spread the spawns out a bit. I currently have 150 or so bladderfish around to my base and I'm planning to forcibly move them away with the prop gun.

Thanks for responses and guidance. Do the bladder fish get saved and are available when next you log in? I tested spawning and it seems like they were all (100) gone the next time I logged in.

I spawned in a bunch last night, used them...saved, went to bed.

Logged back in, there were still lots, but they were getting eaten a lot by other things.

If you need to have some bladderfish, use the command "item bladderfish 25" and store them in a storage locker or something. You can use this command a lot without having massive schools of fish around your base.

Spawning in bladderfish won't break the game (Unless you spawn in literally thousands upon thousands of them at once lol)
