[Bug] Below zero exe starts original subnautica

I originally couldn't get Below Zero to run directly from my steam library like a few other people have had trouble with, so went into the folder where the below zero exe file was to try running it as admin to see if that changed anything and everytime I would do so it would start the original subnautica game.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I would say try uninstalling/ reinstalling.

That's strange. Is it SubnauticaZero.exe in the SubnauticaZero folder? Did you accidentally install it on a different drive maybe?

If your internet is slow you can try doing a file verification instead of redownloading it all. Right-click on it in your library and search the pop-up box for the info.

I have this same problem.
If I try to start Below Zero through Steam, it won't even launch, but if I try to start the game's exe manually from the directory it installed to, it runs the original Subnautica. After I uninstalled the original Subnautica, the game now tries to download and install Subnautica.

I'm getting exactly what Final Cipher is getting, it's a very weird bug.

After restarting my computer completely, game now starts normally.

I'm having this same problem I've uninstalled and reinstalled both games multiple times to no avail

Do you have this issue when using the desktop icon? That is all I use and have no issues at all.
Connects to steam on or offline automatically.

I have tried starting it in Steam and straight from the EXE in it's folder i've tried adding -force-opengl nothing seems to work.
