Barely any ribbon plants?

So I found like 4 or 5 of them so far near the base, after about two hours of playing.

Which is absolutely not enough to keep up my battery usage this early in the game...


Am I looking in the wrong place? Can someone point me in the right direction?

I could easily find 10+ in a few minutes, you can usually see the same kind of reeds before you see them and usually in a small cave/alcove type thing not too deep.

There are a lot of them in the twisting bridges biome about 100m down, or you can craft a scanner to instantly recharge your battery for the cost of one titanium.

It's hard for me to find Ribbon Plants too. I also noticed that when you scan a Ribbon Plant and go into the databanks to read about it, all it says is "Generic Ribbon" or some ♥♥♥♥ like that.

They seem to be tucked away in little alcoves and sheltered areas. I seem to see them frequently as I go deeper.

I had a hard time finding any at first, but you're right, there are more as you go deeper.

Most of they are in Areas like the Caves in around the Twisting Bridges.

As others have said there are more to find but also consider finding ways to conserve your batteries - use Air Bladder to ascend instead of Seaglide, swim instead of Seaglide in shallower areas, keep Flashlight use to a minimum, etc.

The Charger IS apparently in game atm, so Battery usesage Is not to big of a problem.

There is a place closer to the island that is filled to the brim with em. Closer to the fumarole vents somewhere.
