....

Difference big. Obviously, steam store has been around 2006/8... Epic only a month and a half o.O

I was not talking about games or age, rather this

Also is not that Steam is better or anything and I like Epic (thats why I already have the launcher, and no is not for fortnite, is for UT), also Steam needs the competition but at the moment the difference is big

EDIT:

if you like to be pioneer dont let me stop you, I just think they need more time
But you think steam had everything like that in 2006? :p

Well the OP is right, for me it show 6.99, and Subnautica 4.89.

But the problem is simple ... its a bad platform ...

They have on the EULA that clause to make any class action invalid.

Also in the EULA they have another clause to make people unable to refund in certain occasions,

Also, also, the time for refund counts from the time you buy (the 15 days) not the time you have it install or play.

On the part of privacy don't get me started, like they are not force to do anything to protect your identity, actually say in the EULA that they can send any data to their partners (don't know if only internal or all)

On the Platform side they don't have several "normal" things like steam, I think the only thing they have is a friends list
you mean you the same refund policy that steam has etxept done different?....

:/

People just love to make stuff up nowadays.

Shows 16 euro for me.

This is not correct Steam doesn't count preorders of a game before it releases as your 15 day starting period.

Actually in 2006 Steam did have all that it was even doing ARGs within its games granted Steam started in 2003 and between 2003 to the start of 2005 Steam was a bit rough but everything picked up during Winter Sale 2005 and started to become the Steam of today the only real difference being Refunds weren't enabled until 2016.

What region are you from? Does the Epic store calculate regional price differently than Steam?
They do not have region pricing at all it just shows US $. The game is much more expensive on epic for me since steam gives me pricing in my local currency and somehow it is cheaper on steam.

For me on Epic prices are : $8.99 (might be discount due to 3rd world) but still more than steam since steam is in my currency

EDIT : Pretty sure 3rd world gets a generous discount .. might be wrong

Well to me it only shows US dollars and no way to change it to ZAR or NAM $.

As for fanboy I do not like Valve. Because they destroyed one of the best game franchises Half Life. I will not forget that ever. When an Epic Fanboy that do not mind the spyware it includes defend it by calling someone just stating true facts a fanboy, it is funny

What are you talking about, on steam the play time counts, I have refund a year old game on steam with no problem, on Epic if you download the game you are done, the time start right there.

You dont even need to download it to accept the EULA, is force on to you, and have you even read it all
This does not fit my experience. I was unable to refund a game that had 13 mins play time, because i'd had it 6 weeks, and was waiting for the next patch to drop to play.
I had previously played the demo, and all the previous content on my friend's computer.
So i didn't want to burn out on it.
and when they dropped a number of promised features, [specifically, the entire reason i bought the game] i asked for a refund.

They refused. because i'd had it more than 2 weeks.
