Cheat Codes "Disable" achievements?
So I have a survival save that I use mainly, but I want to test stuff out in my old freedom save with cheats/console commands. I read online when looking at the commands and how to do it, and it said that using these commands will disable achievements. So I am concerned that when i use them in the freedom save will it disable it in the survival game as well or just the freedom. OR will it be disabled completely from my game? Any help is very welcomed and thanked for.

There are no Achievements for Below Zero
*yet.

In Subnautica using the console would disable achievements for that gameplay session only.

So if you're worried about it - activate the console and do whatever you need to do - then immediately save/quit/reload and achievements will be enabled again.

Ehhhh, We don't know that. There might be achievements. I did see a Favro card for achievements, there was nothing on it
O they'd get such a spanking from the community if they didn't I'm sure they will be added.

Personally I don't care about Achievements but I know a LOT of people do.
Early Access games typically only release achievements on the release patch, so we have many months until then.
It's not like it'll be a global disable of achievements, though. Sure, you won't pop any during the session you used cheats, and possibly even no longer any on that save, but as soon as you start a new game, they're enabled again. I wouldn't worry about it.
OK cool thanks guys!
When achievements are added, I assume it'll work the same way as the original game. In the original, if you use the console, achievements are disabled for the remainder of that game session. However, on the start of the next session, you immediately get any achievements that you satisfied the requirements for while they were disabled.

I have tried that multiple times over. It doesn't seem to work.

It worked for me. Which achievement isn't working for you?

Because it’s now changed to where if you use the console once in that save session achievements are permanently disabled for that save
Well that's nice cause sometimes the console is the only way to fix things in both these games.
why is this post being re opened? please check your dates people.

because its the same topic, now after release. is it better to make 1000 new threads with the same topic? then you sure would say "use the search option, it was already asked"
I dont know how to 'fix' a save that is broken already (achievements wise), but multiple people in the modding discord have stated that using/installing QMM (Thats the mod manager that ALL the mods require to work), you can then use the console for anything without disabling achievements.

I should note that before even launching the game the first time, I went and got my preferred mods that exist for BZ (that I used in Subnautica 1), and, modded, AND using the console, I am still getting achievements....so confirmation that it works.
