SnowFox HoverPad

so i found the hoverpad and all the parts for the snow fox, when i build the pad, it says there is no power, do i need to connect it to a base? it seems to have 2 powercell inputs but i have no way of accessing them, i get no tooltips or anything, just a red screen with a power icon.

build a couple of solar panels as close as you can to the hoverpad

Put the pad on a foundation, then build a solar panel directly on said foundation.

FYI you only need one panel and it doesn't have to be on a foundation.
