Nickel ore

Is it not in game yet.

As far as i know it should be in the lilypads area, but have been as far down as 400 meters, and only finds gold or silver and ruby.

How ever, i see some "boxes" with lilypads_ressource in that area, so is that the future rocks with nickel ?

I found some in the deep lilly pad cave. About 500 meters down.
It is hard to spot though du to its colour scheme, so I recomend a mineral scanner. Some is however inside rock formations and inacessible. Still found enough for the 3rd seatruck depth upgrade and with that I could go to the cave's "second level" beyond 500 meters and found some more.

I just use mineral detector, near seamonkey nest on roof in lilypad, and the other in cave with hivemind where you go to margerit base, all at 300 - 400 meter deep.
but i don t find any deep lilypad or crystal cave.

Ihave found that Melon as in Subnautica1 can be planted again to four empty blocks and then when picked up You get small melon. It can't be eaten but it Acts as a full melon in reactor but it only takes one place block so You can fill Bioreactor with 16 of them. Another help is place solar panel on ice (lilly pad if posible) and with transmiter bring power to your base. This will keep scanner room during day and small melon method enough long. Hope it helps

Nickel is in the game. In thermal vents go down underground, nad there's a ton of it at depth over 500 meters. There's some hostile fauna there though.

I assume you have Al-An already? Pin a recipe that needs nickel and have the sea monkeys find it for you. ;)

i have nickel ore already (within last 2 days) ill screenshot it, i found some at the deep mushroom cave and in the purple spires cave.

It is still in the Lily pad area. Build a scanner on one of the floating rocks, use solar power, and you will see it in the selection choices.

I literally just found ONE in the crystal caves lol I've been hunting for an hour

Ok, so after finding the ONE, I decided to try underneath the lily pads and sure enough, they are there. I have a total of eight now after looking only briefly, and I was at about 230m. The Sea Monkey thing was also GENIUS! I pinned the seatruck depth MK3 and I got 3 just off of them alone. Thanks y'all!
