Large alient containment aquariums in Stacked Large Base components

So after a LOT of resource grabbing and searching I have built a 5 level Large base structure. with 2 alien containment aquariums running the full length inside. Ive sadly just noticed the bottom level dosnt have a place for me to plant some seeds to get some plants going. Have I done something wrong? Has anyone else tried this?

you cant plant anything in the large room containment yet, you still can plant in a multipurpose room containment though.

I haven't seen many plants that can get seeds to plant. red wort and gel sacs were the only ones I have found.

I generally just used Blood Vine Sample pods to grow new really tall vines.

There are some violet beau in the kelp areas. Have not tried ribbon plant yet, not sure if it counts as a seed. My theory if you can scan it you can hack a seed. :)

ribbon plant would be nice, but I couldn't cut it for a seed. I could only pick it. I wasn't able to cut blood vine last I tried. I haven't tried to plant the kelp samples. the heat fruit plants would be nice in a container

And also the fish don't seem to breed very fast in there, for some reason.

I didn't find the planter yet, where is it?

There are no (scannable/buildable) planters in the game yet.

I respectfully disagree about the breeding speed. I built a huge alien containment stack (20 stories tall) and dropped only 4 Arctic Eyes in there to start. The next time I came back to that base maybe an hour later there must have been 40-50 of them.

That's weird. I dropped some peepers and days later there was like maybe one or two more ?

Rocket island wall planters are scanable, but there are no samples you can plant in them.

They are reproducing just as rapidly as in the multipurpose room containment. I put 2 fish in and within 30 minutes there were 4.
