You can find silver ore in the following places according to the fan site.

First aid kits are made from fiber which is made from Kelp samples (cut with knife). Silver ore is a grayish rock. It is more often on sides of "valleys" and caves and cave roofs and more common below 50 ft in depth. Like lead it can be hard to see, especially without a light.

They can't turn sharply so best way to avoid damage is to wait until they "launch" out of their nests then swim AT them and PAST them.

They won't be able to U-turn fast enough to catch up and hurt you when they explode.
