Becasue real gamers have no voice in this industry.. Its run by a buch of basement dwelling YT pedophiles who have no job IRL. Your quote is absolute perfect, Why is everything left down to the community to fix, my most anticipated games all were bascially broken or littered with bugs as usual so have to wait a yr to finally enjoy. BTW, did you alos know FO76 does not support UW and FO4 STILL has not fixed it.

Using Bethesda as a benchmark for anything when they've time and time again have had people defend their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ optimized and bug riddled games and as such stopped caring is very much beyond the point. I expect more from big companies like Insomniac, THQ Nordic and Microsoft.

ReCore, xbone exclusive does support UW on pc. Sad this doesnt. If I grab it later I will try the hexedit and see if it works.

Having a few friends who have or are currently employed at triple A devs I can say for a fact that the console companies favor companies that help them. One way they like to be heleped is by having devs not make "better" versions of their games for PC. This is intentional. This is why every Betheesda game has the exact features on every platform. This is why they brought modding to consoles. This is why so many triple A games still don't offer ultra wide.
