Why won't devs fix washing hands?
I mean it literally makes no sense, it's just something to add artificial difficulty and all it does it make the game tedious.

This game is dying, it's been out since last year with no workshop or QOL improvements.

Seems like the devs release a game, call it done and move on to the next (which is a recurring theme in 2021/22).

Borrowing from a review that is 100% correct:
- The UI is not intuitive
- The management side is made hard by not having clean overviews. I want to have an overview that is easy to use + provides at a quick glance what you need to invest in to make your cult + cultists thrive.
- The misson tab is overwhelming with whats on the screen, but its very unclear what certain missions provide
- The mission tab, when assigning a cultists does not show what impact certain cultists have over others. Only the success % changes when I click around on a few of them.
- The skills are confusing and it's unclear what to focus on (prioritize)
- It's not easy to assign cultists to certain roles because again, the interface + skills are not intuitive
- The way the research tree has been set up is not logical to me. Stuff like better toilets + bedrooms should be moved to earlier in the tree, to ensure cultists stay happy/healthy (no heat early on). Perhaps adding another branch to the tree which solely focusses on the cultists needs might help?
- There is a lot of text, but all this text does not make things any clearer
- Cultist management tab is not helpful at all. I'm resorted to having to click on each cultists separately, which is not great
- Cannot save your custimized cult settings (appearance). So I have to keep recreating it when I want to restart . Would be great to save a custom template.
- When you demolish/delete something, you do not get your money back
- There is no undo button
- The toilet mechanic makes no sense to me. It feels like you have to build a toilet next to every room to ensure your cultists don't pee their pants
Literally a patch with some QOL in Jan sigh... Just change it to "NOT MY KIND OF QOL" Also in EA games QOL is always dead last on the to do lists lol.

That seems pretty spot on.

Honestly, I know it's EA but as a self-declared cult expert, I've been watching this game for something like 4 years. What we got isn't remotely what it started at and what we got is a very, very bland, watered down clicky game. Heck, Diner Dash has more action than this.
The in-mission random events are quite interesting. I'm enjoying those. But in general I agree, it needs some real though on how to make managing your cultists more enjoyable.
It feels harder to work your way up the tree balancing all the different metrics now, but no more fun. Hopefully the incoming patch will help.

Great timing, the Futurist patch has just launched! We hope the new changes and additions help you out!
