Can I make my female follows leave their cult member husbands and sleep with me and father my children?
Can I make them all drink my 'flavored" Kool-air and watch them die?
Can I get them to plan and commit a few murders with me to start a race war?
Can we barricade ourselfs in our compound and have the ATF burn and kill us all?
Can I create a cult based on a Sfi-fi book and take over the entertainment industry?
Re your points:
No plans to allow the break-up of marriages but you may well end up with a fairly randy leader.
Lots of people want some kind of mass-suicide type mechanism - we are definitely listening!
A whole host of underhand actions will be able to be undertaken, although we haven't specifically related this to a race war (sorry).
We're including a raid mechanism but this hasn't been fleshed out yet.
Definitely!
Hope that helps. Let us know if there's anything else you want to see!
1. Do you plan to localize to more languages in the future? For example, Japanese.
Even if you do not do it as an official response, they may be realized with voluntary power, for example by adapting to the Steam workshop.
If you are willing to carry out official localization, I would like to cooperate with it.
2. Does construction of the building have to consider everything, such as the size of the room and the arrangement of fixtures on your own? (Like "Prison Architect" for example)
To be honest, I do not like such a style. That confuses me.
For example, if it is an option to build a specific room like an already designed template, I can increase them as needed.
1. We would like to have steam workshop but haven't looked into how feasible it is from a technical point of view yet. Thank you for offering to help with a Japanese localisation - we want the game to be available in as many different languages as possible but haven't had a chance to consider how this will be achieved at present (the English version is taking up all our time!t).
2. The game is less focused on the architectural layout of the base than something like Prison Architect (where we'd argue it is the primary focus of the game). That said, you will need to consider how you build your base and place various items of furniture and objects to enable your cult to progress - the objects are not purely ascetic. There's also a lot of other things to think about though, like resources, missions, recruitment, and various other cult related issues.
Questions :-
1. Any controller support?
2. window mode?
3. is it possible to get a key code if I said I love you?
4. Expected price range?
Thank you, we're glad you like the look of the game! We've replied to these points in CAPS above.
We're not planning to do this at present.

How grounded in reality is this game's universe set? Is there any element of magic or even exagerated reality like reliable hypnosis or subliminal messages in music to keep cultist in line?
How involved is the game in recruiting new members? Is it just interested potential members walk up to the door? Do you advertise, send out cultist to recruit others?
What do you do with cultist once they're in the cult? I mean besides learn the great truth of the One Fish or whatever.
Are the cults always meant to be sort of predatory or can you make a cult that is genuinely helpful to it's members? Is there sort of a morality of being a 'good' cult or a 'bad' cult?
would be fun to have a cult thats actually RIGHT. like to have a cult whobelieves in the doomsday scenario and to actually have a doomsday happening XD
The game's set in 70s America and there is an element of fantasy about it - the hypnodisc for example isn't actually a real thing (as far as we know!) but for the most part it is set in reality.
Recruitment occurs in a number of ways, through approaching people on the street, through cold calling people and through missions at specific locations. Different locatons are more likely to give certain types of people (University = more likely to be a student or have an education).
Cultists can be used in a number of ways, there's lots of tasks to take care of and you'll need to make sure people are pulling their weight. Some will be used for missions, some will end up in jail, some will end up injured or dead.
The focus is more on a "bad" cult - we thought the nefarious actions were more fun than other actions. We were hoping to have a way of being totally pacifist and nice but it's not an option an present.
The most satisfying thing for Ed is adding endless Easter Eggs in to the game. There's already a tonne, some I don't think people will ever get but I'd love to be wrong!
The truthfulness of your Grand Plan will become evident at the end of the game
Celebs are definitely making an appearance, they'll give your cult big bonuses if you can attract them/keep them happy.
