ok whats the best mods for this game I can try

Multiple options like Squad Size, Mist expansion rate, starvation rate, soldier stat, personal traits, vehicules and many more...

- Select Class Traits
Customize each soldier class. With it, you can select, give and remove perks you like or don't like for your soldiers.
You can even give every perks to every soldier if you want. But still 7, and random (except if you select exactly 7 perks of course).

The only mods I have are loot everything so I don't have to pick up every items I want to keep and Full augmentation so I'm not restricted to only 2 augments/mutations.

how do you install assorted adjusments?

Install Modnix (mod launcher) first. It is mandatory for any mods.
Then, launch Modnix and click on "Setup", you have to do it everytime the game have been updated (or if it's the first time).
Finally, you can install any mods you have downloaded with it by clicking on "Add Mod".
