Focus on Target or Crosshairs?
What do most people focus on when aiming? I seem to focus on the target and try to line up my cross hairs that way. Does anyone do the opposite? Does anyone constantly shift back and forth? I don't know what is best.

I'm thinking of the same question. Please reply so I get notif too.
Basically, get a feel for where your crosshair is to the point where you don’t even have to look at it to aim anymore, and focus on the target. Do this, and you can flick to each target much faster. This has worked well for me with every type of weapon except snipers.

Personally, for as long as I can remember, my normal way of looking of things is by focusing on a small 2x2 box that extend out of the xhair.
In other words, you have the crosshair at the center, and anything outside of the small area of crosshair is where i naturally focus.

Because of this, imo, I have just know where the center of my screen is and it is why i have decent enough accuracy when playing without a crosshair.

this gives me the benefit of
1) tracking targets just by eye instead of crosshair
2) I can track 2 targets with my eyes at the same time i.e one the one im shooting at and another near by.

So what does it all mean?
well some will tell you crosshair matters for aiming and accuracy and whatnot.
I personally tend to go for crosshair that feels and looks good on my eyes rather than "functional" crosshairs.

and to answer your question it seems you are just like me and focus more on target rather than crosshair.
you should still train both, probably.

i focus on crosshair up close and target for medium/far range. but thanks to that "effective range" that extends beyond the crosshair I can do both at the same time but still naturally it ends up being like 65% looking at target and 35% crosshair.

whatever xD i type too much

Thanks, I'll focus on the target on tile frenzy.

Focusing on the target is definitely the way to go, you'll find flicks and tracking become much easier as you're simply centring the target on your screen rather that moving a crosshair onto them.

Smart crosshair placement and awareness is still necessary though, the less you have to aim the more likely you are to hit the target :)
