Lol, I enjoy this game a lot. XD However, if you are looking for straight Animal Crossing like games, you may not like this game as much. I don't really remember that much about Animal Crossing because it's been so long since I've played, but this is a pretty casual game if you want it to be or it can be more active, depending on how much work you want to put into it. It doesn't really get updates much outside of the Creator Challenge showcases, if that's something important to you. Are there any particular things that you are or would be looking for in this game?

I also enjoy palia and dream light valley and my time at sandrock
I like fixing up villages and doing tasks etc and decorating stuff

I've only played a little of Palia and not at all Dream Light Valley or My Time At Sandrock, but there is some fixing up of a village, tasks from NPCs, and you can decorate your house, the houses of the NPCs, and the village. If you gather resources like wood, you can eventually unlock the ability to build your own things like furniture that you can place in any house or outside in many places around the town. The tutorial can be long and slow if you like to complete things fast, but it is where you unlock all the basic tools.

Edit: Is there anything that you would dislike about a game?

Honestly no. I've tried a few times to play this since I purchased it at release, and even after the updates, I don't find it fun. The crafting has been improved slightly, but the controls haven't been. I also really dislike the villager models. The storyline is pretty shallow and there just isn't very much to do.

Pay wall killed it for me for dream light, like you want a big update have to pay for the game all over again, you want stuff to hurry have to pay for it, I also like palia even though they have a store its there and its not pay to win, I really wanted to enjoy this game but it fizzled out fast for me when the city unlocked and became a huge disappointment.

I have been loving it. Actually enjoying it more than New Horizons. Being able to build your own furniture and decorations is really cool. I've got almost 8 hours of play time and feel like I've barely scratched the surface, which I personally like but I know some people aren't into that, I like a game I can have plenty of things to do and feel like I'm earning my way into upgrades and stuff.

A lot of new content in that game is locked behind the DLC paywall.. its very well known at this point reasons a lot of people do not support it anymore.. They broke a lot of things they promised in the start of the EA.. but if you like it thats you lol, Other people on the hand do not like it ether.

Yes, I love this game! Love the art and graphics, love the idea of the game, so much to do and explore and visit. You can graft at this game or take it easy and just chill out / explore. It's great

I enjoy the game quite a bit. I'm of the age where buying a game meant you got it. Games getting endless updates isn't a realistic business model, and I feel like it's an unrealistic goal for players. I also buy early access games as if they are feature-complete. I should be able to enjoy the game enough as it is, with road-map features just being a bonus. I suspect a lot of people don't share this attitude and expect games to be Minecraft and expect single-person developers to be able to release frequent and endless updates.

It's great, but feels more like early animal crossing games (rude villagers, etc.) rather than the modern ones, even though the crafting aspect is better than ACNH.
