First Winter will become Free

It's been a couple of years since the release of the game and I think it's a good time (given the situation we're all in) that I make the game free.

Other developers don't offer a final discount precisely because they don't want to give money to Steam. Oh well.

I think the real question is if you want people buying it on Steam at all while you wait for it to switch to FTP? I'm guessing you would prefer that not be the case. Personally, I'm loving Itch.io these days.

I just think it's extremely stupid to blame Valve for not posting/tweeting a meaningless, empty phrase like every other corporation did (because it was just the thing to do). Makes Valve look actually more integer to me. They're an entertainment media corporation, they don't need to post about real life politics.

For any other reason I'd have picked your game right up before it leaves, but not for that, no. I too have values (and no, nobody here is racist because he did not post a tweet at a given time when everybody else did it.. madness).

He admitted that the game was doing poorly, so he decided to jump on the bandwagon to get some free publicity. Good riddance. Go sell your 30 minute shovelware at EGS.

First you say you will make it F2P and then you lie and now you say your removing it because Steam didn't bow to your idology and pander. Which is more then likely a lie just to get views. Can't you ever just stop lying and just remove it already because at this point I don't think anyone wants your files even if they were made free.

Exactly. He and the other people leaving: nothing of value will be lost.
