dont know about this one, but the first vermintide had a playerbase of ~1000 ppl for a long time and you could always find online games.
maybe deathwing will be able to get somewhere near, or even higher now that there is more replayability (at least i hope so, havent tested the ee yet).
If things do not work out as you expected, get a refund.
I understand where you're coming from, but I do not agree with your approach.
Besides, I highly doubt this game will hit 10K in-game. It's a niche title. But 1-2K 3 months out would be more than enough for me.
Look, I think I'd rather not have you even in a game if you think 40K is in any way a "Overused" franchise.
