WTF is easy anti cheat, can i get some help.

i can't even open the game for some ♥♥♥♥ed up reason i don't even know, it only says "game security violation detected (#0000000D) [lightningservice.exe]" easy anti cheat. my pc is 3 months old and i have no clue what the problem is here if i have to enable something or disable something in order to play, but its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ my off i am wasting my time figuring this stuff out, please hlep in any form.

easy anti cheat is software used by several game to detect cheats, do u have mods installed for other games? that may be the issue

Easy Anti Cheat likes to break every now and then for no discernable reason. What you need to do is go to Computer > Local disk > Program Files x86 > Steam > Steamapps > Common > JUMP FORCE > EasyAntiCheat > Run the Easy Anti Cheat Setup > Run the Repair Service for JUMP FORCE.

That should, in theory, fix the issue. You may have to do this with other games in the future too. I usually try to keep my most recent EAC service setup shortcut on my desktop, cause it happens to me a lot.

Guys it's.. EAC isn't a flawless program. Even if you don't cheat, EAC will crap out on its own. It's just a thing that happens with the software.

i have an issue where the game crashes and attempts to reopen and i get that error, the best thing i can say is when i have the issue if i cant get it to close all the way before i reopen i restart my pc, but i have been able to sift through my Task Manager to force close the jump force that is broken
i think this volation you are getting is it things the game is opening mulitples but im not sure

If you're playing with mods or cheats, that's the problem. Xenoverse 2 added Easy Anti-Cheat as well, and people were saying they couldn't play the game, because it registered mods as cheats.

found the problem it was Asus that was the problem cuz the company hasn't whitelisted it so its being treated as a Cheat or some ♥♥♥♥ like that, just unistalled that stupid program and it works fine. as for ppl who think i cheat, you are just rly retarded.

Press windows key and type msconfig then press enter. Click services tab and find lightingservices.exe and disable it. Then restart your computer. Lightning should still work and apex will open. Live the legend.

Unfortunately the only thing you can do is delete/close any lighting program that you have. Back when i used to play fortnite i couldnt play the game unless i had asus aura closed. If i had it open then it would give me the exact same error you are getting now.

They ruin our Experiences, & for this, I hate when MOD's & such other
stuff get added to every Game we play now...

I always want them in, but because of this, I don't like asking for them...
