Report a translation problem
Your easiest solution will be to use the Steam Achievement Manager to give it to yourself manually. It's a third-party program, but it's completely safe and Steam does not care if you use it. Very quick and easy.
As mentioned by LuckyCheshire, SAM is your only option if you don't want to do it again.
In the future, if you're about to trigger a particularly grindy achievement, you can make a savegame backup before attempting to complete that achievement. Then go ahead and try to pop it and if it won't, you can just keep re-trying by loading a previous save.
