Is there an Easy Mode?
Okay I'm having a debate with another user and I played Sekiro Shadows Die Twice. I got all the achievements and I uninstalled it. But I beat the game with the difficulty that it had. Now he says the games has easy mode.

Did they put an easy mode officially or is this a mod that makes it easy?

Okay I was like, there is no easy mode. He is also saying Dark Souls Remastered and DS3 has an easy mode and I have played those extensively and don't remember seeing an easy mode.

This conversation is being taken place in the Wo Long discussion. If you head over there you will see it.

Just an user that expects Wo Long to have an easy mode because they believe it will reach more people.

no fromsoft game has an "easy mode"

it's one fixed difficulty

You could argue that Sekiro starts in normal and gives you 3 options to increase difficulty, but there really isn't an easy mode per se outside of mods.

I'm aware of the demon bell and the bell charm. What's the third method?

I remember the demon bell but I don't think I ever use it though. Grant it I only play Sekiro when it was first release, for me it didn't have the impact or replayability as the Dark Souls games had.

NG+ up until the 8th cycle. Afterwards is the same as the 8th.

Makes sense. Not sure why I didn't consider that. Probably because it is a given.

The demon bell doesn't really do all that much. It's much more useful for farming materials to upgrades. Even then, you usually don't need much. Kuro's charm, on the other hand, makes it much harder unless you have your parries down incredibly well.

Some of the fights deflecting felt like a chore. I have to deflect like hundred times before I can hit the boss 1 time.

I’ve never understood this mindset. "Basic mechanics the game is built around are easy mode". No, they’re not. They’re literally the lowest common denominator, the most basic things every player should be able to do normally.

What's next? “Beating the enemies is easy mode. No hit run? Pfft. Try doing it while getting hit, that’s the real challenge”. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sounds like a Kung Pow "Try my nuts to your fist style" kinda deal. Did someone also trained you wrong as a joke Amelia?

Not uncomfortable at all. If anything, sorry If my comment came out like me being a massive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I'm actually just joking a bit, ‘cause I do find it strange when people call fundamentals easy mode.

You could use a trainer to farm xp, money, increase items, health, guard, so that you can customize the diffculty, or even a god if you just want to skip a boss/zone. Having said that, this game enjoyment comes from mastering the parry system and learning to read the enemy. If you are going to use a trainer try to use it just to the reduce the farming time to obtain skills and money, and leave the combat as it is.
