It looks like it's working way better though. Deflects seem to be working rather fine, though... there's no way to tell how far the people playing in this video were from each other. Would love to see some latency test videos as that's what's going to affect the deflections the most.
Also, I don't really care about all the made up attacks nonsense. If people find fun in that, great for them. For me it seems a little too much.
there is no posture break on deflects for the enemy, but for you it breaks.
in essence r1 mash is a viable tactic, block is useless.
Your average player is well...average, but when you fight a guy that knows how to use the many items this game gives and its 'moves' well you can get 2 shoted easy.
maybe it will be better in future updates.

It might been even devs of sekiro himself if mod is trash number of creators doesnt matter
