Any Lady Butterfly Tips For A Sekiro Noob?

I really need help I'm getting my ass whooped. I stun her with a shuriken mid air and knock her down, and I try not to get greedy and hit more than 2 or 3 times. I can never seem to even make it to second phase. Not sure what I am doing wrong,

be super aggressive at all times, attack 2-3 times then parry immediately in the first stage, once she gets in 2nd phase you wana run around til those ghosts dissapear then when she snaps you wana get a few free hits in before the light attack comes out, then hide in the corner or behind a post to block the light attacks. then proceed to do the 2-3 hit attack into parry over and over, make sure to jump over her sweeping death blow but thats honestly one of the easiest parts.

it's quite simple after all) just study its attacks better (I didn't even know that you can stun it when you killed it)

Hey, I beat her after probably 2 hours. in the second phase she called me very skilled while I was waving with the sword. I was spaming the ♥♥♥♥ out of LB :D

Lady Butterfly is literally the dodge counter tutorial. Her weapons have short range and just stepping slightly to the side is enough to get a vitality hit in. The advice is not bad, but I would still suggest not neglecting the deflects. However, doing 2 attacks and then a dodge counter is usually a pretty consistent cheese. Up to the point you can completely stop her from using her illusion technique in the second phase if you overwhelm her with counters.

Learning deflect is the best way to beat her imo, she has steep learning curve in early game but really worth it once you beat her. Keep deflecting her easily makes her posture full, then you can deathblow with ease

I will now teach you the way of the blade. This old woman is only experienced in countering consecutive attacks. You must abuse her weakness, using the step-dodge move to the left or to the right followed by a rapid strike will always land. Do this until she's dead and that's it.

1. If you see her midair, a shuriken will immediately stagger and ground her. But it won't if she's hanging on one of her wires
2. When she spawns the mobs it's honestly just easier to run around in circles around the arena until they despawn
3. Parry. If you think that's too hard and don't want to even learn or try, you will never finish the game. She's basically a less mechanically demanding version of a later boss

something that i find helps with every boss is knowing that when they do an unblockable sweeping attack, you can jump to avoid it, but then can also wall jump off the boss to do a load of posture damage

Well, I know how to break that fight. I did this and she was useless.

Hit her. Evade to the right. Hit. Evade to the right. Hit. And so on.
If you miss, try to parry her attacks and try the same again.

She will be stunned if you do that. This happens because you hit her from behind so she can't do a thing.
Try to stay as close to her as possible.
Hiding behind the columns will work to protect yourself from her long range attacks.

Don't let her breath for a second.

Step aside + 1x attack,step aside + 1attack.. If she jumps on ropes,trow hurricane at here and repeat. Second phase you can use snap seed.

First Phase: Shuriken when mid air, 2-3 hits, parry every move, horizontal attack = double jump then kill her.

Second Phase: use the item for removing all the illusions (if you don't have it anymore just run around the arena until they're gone), 1-2 hits on her, parry every move, when she summons the flowers while attacking, dash then parry, all flowers that chase you just run in circles around the arena, rinse and repeat.

I just ran around in circles avoiding her attacks and countering when she was done her movesets. I also never shuriken'd her because if you can time it right, A. you can dodge her shuriken throws and when she lands she's wide open, and B. when she does her head jump special you can easily dodge it by running under her and then scoring wide open hit on her back after that.
