The only hope for salvation is that this is purely Activision spreading their filth once again and that Elden Ring won't suffer from this because it is under Bandai Namco.
However, to be perfectly honest you just seem like a troll... or a 13 year old that takes entertainment WAY too personally. Whichever you are, good riddance.
Demon's Souls has the easiest combat + almost infinite healing.
Dark Souls 2 has the second most healing items after Demon's Souls and it also has the highest potential i-frames on dodges depending on your stat invesment, a feature unqiue to DaS2.
Thank you for showing you don't know what you are talking about.
Another fake From Software/Soulsborne fan REJECTED.
DS2s a lot of healing items but they were over time instead of practically instant like in DS1, 3, and BB. DS2 also has the most dead community and worst matchmaking so its almost impossible to get a summon to come help you unlike in DS1 and DS3.
DS1 also has the most op shields and DS3 has basically inifinite rolls.
If something so little can be added to the game to make it casual garbage then it was already pretty garbage to begin with.
Optional difficulty already exists in Sekiro - see the Demon Bell and Kuro Charm.
The game has also been out for a very long time. 90% of the people still playing already know everything and the phantoms will not do anything to help that.
And what exactly to do you expect the phantoms to show that will be make the game significantly easier? Seeing a phantom parry 10 times in a row won't mean anyone watching it can repeat that.
Why are you so scared of the game becoming a little easier for some? Is your sole enjoyment of this game the difficulty and the way it's gated to mean not everyone can finish it? Do you need to feel like you're part of some elite crowd that can enjoy a game others might not?
You seem awfully angry and defensive at the idea of something being added to the game that, quite frankly, will have ZERO impact on how YOU play the game.
Doesn't change the fact that I am still right. All those points you brought up imply error in execution, not numerical values as facts. So what if the healing is over time? You pop a healing shard, move back and wait, then engage.
All From Software games are easy, it is just a matter of how easy they are. Demon's Souls and Dark Souls 2 are super easy. Sekiro just got braindead with literal 30 sec built in personal YouTube guide to show you where to go, what to do and how to do it.
Accept it, Sekiro will get dumbed down and easier with Remnant update.
Activision got the last laugh, From Software sold out, rest in peace.
Optional difficulty INCREASEMENT already exists in Sekiro, not optional difficulty REDUCTION. Thank you for showing that you are either intellectually dishonest or don't know what you are talking about.
Messaging system and ghosts running destroys the lore and setting of Sekiro, it will no longer be a tight and coherent creation of story, gameplay, ost, art-direction etc. It will be another garbage product with no identity and vision, taking elements from other games that do not belong in its setting. Messaging other players and phantoms made SENSE in the setting and lore of Souls and even Bloodborne, but not in Sekiro which is a single-player game.
This is a sign of things to come, the beginning of the end for From Software, they finally gave in, they sold out, this is the first step.
Rest in peace From Software, it was a good run.
