if I had to guess, it's the same conditions as Isshin's/The Tengu's quest earlier in the game: Get the final skill of -one- esoteric text so as to get the Munshin Text. (I took Living Force from the prosthetic tree, but presumably you could get the same with Ashina Cross or Shadowrush or whatever the hell the last Senpo tech is)

it would make sense given that the game seems to work very hard at ensuring you can't miss key items like that.

Any update ? I have mastered every art of every esoteric text (even got the succes) but she still say im not ready.

It's been a minute since I've done that, but I think Space King Veeg was correct, as I did only master a single "tree" (I picked Ashina Cross) and then she gave me a scroll (or something like that) which game me access to the mixed arts page.

Usually unlocking the very last thing in one of the skill trees unlocks it.

You just need to upgrade ONE skill esoteric tree to the max. And you will receive a message and unlock another tree that includes the last of every skill tree.

I actually have the same problem. Got every skill besides 2 temple arts passive buffs. I highly doubt it will work after getting them. And I just grinded a hour for useless skills in hope to unlock it

Most likely a very annoying bug.

there is another character, the one who is "killing rats" (on NG+) that gives you the same result as Isshin.

Yeah.. just started ng+4 and will try to make it with him instead of emma. Thanks tho.

He is at the Great Serpent shrine after you save Kuro from Genichiro (first fight at the Tower) and after you helped him "killing rats"

You need to talk to any version of Isshin. that ofcourse, includes the Tengu, who is him
