Game is not fun

The soulsborne games walk all over it with ease. This is not a very fun game at all. I don't mind dying in games, but the gameplay shouldn't be repetitive and not fun and there is absolutely zero sense of accomplishment even after beating a boss you have been trying to kill for hours.

Combat is simplified, all encounters play the same, parrying and posture is simply a dull game mechanic, grappling is underutilized as half of the s*** you should be able to grapple cannot be grappled (even Tenchu on PS1 didn't have this issue), the story is supposed to be more linear and better than Souls, but it is absolutely not and the Dragonrot mechanic is a cheap gimmick.

Every soulsborne game From released so far trounced this game by far. In fact, I learned to appreciate them far more in hindsight now that I played Sekiro

Back to DS3 and Bloodborne then

Yup, DS and BB is a lot better, but I enjoy this for what it is. It's a fresh take on the formula, and it makes you feel like a badass shinobi

Dark Souls is great, but Bloodborne was complete garbage.
This game is FromSoft breaking into a new style beautifully.
It's not Dark Souls, but I knew that long before this came out.
They clearly said this was NOT going to be the same kind of game.
Sorry you didn't enjoy it.

How come you whiners all need to justify your not liking the game by pretending it's "simplified" compared to Dark Souls or Bloodborne, when it's clearly more complex than "dodge-attack-dodge-attack" the Soulsborne series have been about?

The game was marketing itself as a hard as dark souls game... its just as hard as dark souls and some parts are harder, some parts are easier.

Its like buying hockey equipment then complaining you cant skate and skating is hard. You knew what you were getting into. It gets easier as you learn it.
