I can't pick up loot!

Ok, there is only one instance I only got the loot gold bags from enemies, but throughout the whole game I'm almost 6 hours in and I can't seem to grab the loot or have them interact with me.

For loot bags from enemies you have to hold the button instead of pressing it.

This is one of the things that seems weird to me, especially since you can already be holding the button in the middle of the execution animation so you get the money instantly as they die. I’d rather just get the money automatically

I think it's so you can still get your stuff without having to go to each body and press the button, it let's you keep going and just grab the stuff on the way.

Haha I was the same way, they gave a pop up later on explaining it iirc.
