I will be enjoying the game regardless. They said it's comparable to their previous games in size so, I'm not too worried about it.
♥♥♥♥ off.
2) We've actually seen 6 bosses so far. Real bosses, not mini. In my opinion, they have shown far too much of the game already.
Honestly though, size is not comparative to game quality. Look at recent games like Call of Duty that take over 100gb when installed, were they good? Not really. A bloated game size doesn't necessarily mean more content, it could mean lack of optimization(or compression) in stuff like textures and sound files.
This.
Of course there are going to be 12 year old graphics ♥♥♥♥♥♥ complaining without having a lick of a clue about how textures are packed and unpacked these days in games.
a 2k texture last gen/current gen would be about 5mb. another 5 for the normal map, another 4 for the other maps... Multiply that 14 megs by 4 for a 4k texture.... 56 megs for a SINGLE texture.... huh.
OR you could be a dev that gets with the program(like From Software is) and run all that down to 500kb or less as a procedural material that gets unpacked at runtime.
A lot of these yearly release style games generally don't have the resources invested into optimization of assets or file size that a longer dev cycle game can have. They have space they know they can fill up and they are going to gobble it down until they need to bring an intern on to make cry and fail.
So when other people suffer, it makes you happy? Okay kid, listen up.
First of all it's packed together like always, secondly preload is NEVER 100% of the game there is always something missing and I'm not talking about any patches, this you also have to download.
Dark Souls 3 with every DLC is also 25 GB big, just like Sekiro will be and Yasuhiro Kitao already said in an interview that it will have content around Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 which is 35 and 31 hours. DMC5 is 11h and God of War 20h "long" btw.
And when I take a look at your steam profile you rarely play any game over 20 hours... so what the f**k do you want, besides getting horney off the misfortune of others?
