Agree about Isshin, although the Demon is a close second. I love giant Dark Souls beasts
Somehow I forgot about Demon of Hatred. I really loved that fight too. If I had to do a ranking, I probably would say Sword Saint Isshin > True Monk = Demon of Hatred > Owl (Father) = Divine Dragon > Isshin = Guardian Ape > Genichiro
Or something like that.
Demon of Hatred is definitely a very "difficult" boss, and he took me the longest to beat the first time of any boss in the game. Admittedly I had no remaining spirit emblems, no good tools to use versus him, and was using the demon bell the whole time. He was easier on future games.
