Keyboard & Mouse? Steam Controller?

Does the game support (and feel comfortable to use) the mouse and keyboard?
Has anyone used the Steam Controller for this, feel nice?
(Does every game come compatible with the steam controller? I just got one not long ago still getting use to it).

Sekiro is as good/bad with K&M as Monster Hunter World is, so you can look into opinions on that game's controls and they will likely be valid for Sekiro. I recommend a 4+ button mouse and of course rebinding the controls to offload your WASD/ESDF hand. Note that Ctrl, Tab and the number keys are unused by default (imo they're easier to reach than the default Z & X bindings). Keyboard-only control is possible; camera movement controls are unbound by default.

You can change the control help icons in menus to show K&M icons instead of controller ones; a long overdue addition to Fromsoft games.

Keys which cannot be bound:
Grammar stuff like - = [ ] , .
Numpad / * - + .
Tilde/Grave
Function keys
Capslock
Pause/Break
Print Screen
Escape is locked to menu functions

Modifiers (eg. Shift+F) can be bound, and there is differentiation between left and right Ctrl/Shift/Alt.

Yes, I'm finishing NG++ on K+M. Had to customize controls because I didn't like the default ones.

mouse and keyboard works great for me and I just finished the game today beating every single boss except for the two on the Shura ending which I will get in NG+

I had:

WASD - movement
Q - prosthetic tool
C - cycle prosthetic tool
F - rope
Space - jump
Shift - dodge
R - use item
Cntrl - crouch

M1 - attack
M2 - block/deflect
M3 (scroll wheel click) - lock on/unlock target
M3 (scroll wheel turn) - cycle usable item

Works great for me with Steam Controller.
Sounds like you are having a pirated version of this game.
