Pvp would be awful in this game. They'd have to change the mechanics a lot to make it work. Can you imagine trying to break the posture of another person only to have them run away to lower it? Even if you use prosthetics, you'd run out of spirit emblems before their posture broke.
- More. It's too short.
- Grappling enemies. Not the overly situational boss grapples, but general grappling of enemies. Pulling smaller ones to you, and you to larger ones. Put it as a skill if necessary.
- Some more Prosthetics and consumables with greater viability. Mist Raven for example is quite rubbish, as it's barely any better than a well-timed dodge, but costs 3 Spirit Emblems. More consumables like bombs (or prosthetic bombs),
- Some customisation. I like customisation. It'd be nice to have at least been allowed to pop on some different outfits etc. Could even tie them in with stealth.
- A less retarded jump when trying to get out of water. Jumping out of water is unrealistic anyway, at least make it like a normal jump instead of this limp rubbish.
- More useful combat arts. Most of them are showy but completely useless - not doing any more Posture damage than a normal attack, but being slow and vulnerable.
-No 4 Phase boss fights (this one I consider a minor complaint)
- No annoying enemies like those twirlies at Senpou Temple, or those damn Hatted Rats
If they are going to design enemies you cant posture break easily have it make sense like those bandits who use shields.
-A bit better balance in terms of damage done/taken for some of the fights.
-No fking Grab attacks. Nioh also has them, but they have no place in a game based on skill tbfh. Especially in Sekiro's gameplay that revolves around countering, an uncounterable ability has no place.
-No Spirit Emblem Cost on Combat Arts. All of them shouldnt use any.
-No Spirit Emblems. Have tools refill on rest but without the need to grind Spirit Emblems/Sen
-Skill Exp not scaling to the point it requires ridiculous grinding to get skills later on.
Same as Sekiro did: both.
Shura ending first boss has memorable music. Otherwise I agree the music isnt that great.
The parry mechanic is what makes a lot of fights in this game pretty awesome.
No no no, I don't play pansy weenie mode because I'm not a scrub noob casual. I was born a hardcore gamer and play all games at MAX DIFFICULTY. And if there's not a max difficulty in a game, I don't play it. I even play the game at low resolution, low frame rate and purposefully turn off my monitor to make sure I'm maxing out getin gud. I don't even play with a controller nor a mouse & keyboard. Hell, I don't even have a PC. I'm typing using my phone right now, and I'm using an old flip phone just to max out the difficulty of posting here.
You literally just described like 90% of all SP games, yet people still play them on repeat. Go fig
rpg+online coop/invasions.
Couldnt agree more. I like how I said this same stuff 2-3 days after release and getting flamed for it....more and more people are realizing that FS nailed it and this Sekiro is nothing more than step back on the overall DS/FS fun meter.
Sekiro is OK...but I dont sit and think/study on it like I did with DS games...and then played them over again, and again. It's lacking in almost every department: Sound art, sound track, immersion, mult-style play, loot....fun & Immersion.
I wish I would have waited for it to be on Sale....
And ofcourse, given a choice in weapons a Japanese sword is prefered over most of the alternatives. (especially western alternatives)
i agree with this
That'd be great.
