I keep crouching at the wrong time and it kills me
I hate that crouch is basically the same as run. So often I'm running around during a boss fight, and I wind up just accidentally crouching mid-run, and I wind up getting killed just because I press the left thumbstick a LITTLE too hard.

I feel like this game is sensitive in all the wrong places. XD

I don't know how controls are on PC, but on PS4 crouch is on a different button than sprint. You croach by pressing the left stick and you sprint and evade with O. What buttons do you have to press on PC for sprint, evade and crouch?

On PC controller, sprint is left stick, crouch is pressing down the left stick. THe difference is small enough to where if you're pressing the button forward hard enough you might accidentally press it down just enough to have the game recognize you as trying to crouch. XD

Either your controller is far too sensitive or you're being too rough with your movements. Can't say I've ever had that issue.

Yeah, I know this problem from other games, why would anyone put sprint and crouch both on the left stick. xD I totally get why this would be annoying....or deadly in the case of sekiro

Sprint is not bound to the left stick though, PC has the exact same default bindings as PS4. I'm reasonably sure OP just means character movement when he says "sprint".

Cause crouch becomes slide when you get the right ability and use it while sprinting. Its animation can also be cancelled with dodge/sprint, which means it can be easily mitigated by pressing O/B after crouching/sliding by mistake. Be glad is not jump like in DS3, cause you would instead be doing an uncontrollable jump with virtually no iframes and a long roll recovery animation that can easily get you super killed.

I often had the issue during bosses
i simply un-bound the crouch key during bosses, problem solved.
