On PC controller, sprint is left stick, crouch is pressing down the left stick. THe difference is small enough to where if you're pressing the button forward hard enough you might accidentally press it down just enough to have the game recognize you as trying to crouch. XD
Yeah, I know this problem from other games, why would anyone put sprint and crouch both on the left stick. xD I totally get why this would be annoying....or deadly in the case of sekiro
Cause crouch becomes slide when you get the right ability and use it while sprinting. Its animation can also be cancelled with dodge/sprint, which means it can be easily mitigated by pressing O/B after crouching/sliding by mistake. Be glad is not jump like in DS3, cause you would instead be doing an uncontrollable jump with virtually no iframes and a long roll recovery animation that can easily get you super killed.
I often had the issue during bosses
i simply un-bound the crouch key during bosses, problem solved.
iframes in DS2 were even worse lol
