Custom maps are the reason AoE2 never died.
It all started on "the zone" for me with AoC back in the days...

Fix broken achivements and completely remove flocking from the game instead of saying "Those players are making content instead of us". I am an achivement guide author (in ru) and I have a dozen of players' reports that some achivements can not be taken in any way.
Also "Nobunaga 1.5 hours rush on hard" achivement is total mockery which nobody will ever take.

Hahaha, I still remember playing RTD back when it first came, we used to play through a software called GameRanger, we even made a clan called 'DC' and then slowly everyone found their separate ways, I hope everyone's happy with their life. God bless you lads for those fun time.

Achievements aren't made to be easy, get better if you can't take them, that's life

Can't wait til you paywall these too for 13 euro.

Too bad there is not a function in Steam where you could manage mods such as scenarios and texture packs. You could call it Steam Toolbench or something

Can't you just simply load the old scenario into DE and readd the triggers if needed?

what? wheres the hostility coming from? what, the scenario pack? even though they didnt remove the scenarios on the workshop, and they are by all means non-essential content? it's basically a supporter pack for philthydelphia. but no, i guess according to you its a money grabbing scam that has immediately destroyed all 20+ years of trust in them, right? lord forbid they're actually just putting some spotlight on community made projects, I mean, that's so out of character for them. its not like they've ever advertised any creation or event made or set up by the community before...

It would be nice to fix some issues with the game, like, path finding still being horrible, overprice dlc that become less and less good with time passing, the 2 in europe and the india ones are amazing, return of rome is ok- , the victor and vainquish is just a mod pack and it's annoying. If you really want to come back from this, quality content is needed, not some workshop scenario with out of sync intro in languages other than english. we want campaigns and scenario of good quality like dawn of the dukes !
