kill 50 spear line units with knight line

tips for doing this quick?

Host a single player map with infinite resources. Post IMP, 1v1, Amazon Forest. Be a good spear civ like the japanese. Play human japanese vs AI huns. Spam halb, get knight kills easy.

its the opposite like I said: kill spears with knights

The above, give the opponent a good Spear-line Civ and hope the AI is smart enough to spam them against you Paladin spam.
Maybe setting teh AI to hardest or extreme helps.

how do i play the scenario? i only see how i test it but that doesnt count

You have to save it and then start it as a custom scenario by clicking on Single Player → Skirmish →
changing Game Mode to "Custom Scenario" → selecting your scenario and start it

Just play a longer skirmish and pick something like Teutons to get uberarmoured paladins.

I tried it with the Celts and chose the Japanese as my opponent,
However, the Japanese relied more on swordsmen than pikemen.
Which nation relies more on pikemen?

From my experience most AI civs use quite a lot of pikemen. Just make a larger game with more players (a free-for-all or 4v4 or so) and one match could be enough, I did it in one game yesterday playing a 6-player free-for-all on Hard and most enemy civs threw quite a lot of pikemen at me.

Byzantines should go for spear on normal or higher when they see many riders.

I just helped a friend with that challenge.

I trained 50 spearmen and set them to passive so he could easily kill them with his knights. It did not even take 5 minutes with infinite resources .
