Carrot town farmhouse's lock

hey! I saw the previous thread about this place, but I still have no idea where I can find the key to open the door. I've managed to finish whole game, but I struggle with finding the "secret area, in secret area", meant in other discussion, any hint? :D

Was the key supposed to be further? Let's say near above the crystal man? (I mean the way using wooden planks to get there)

The balls lead you up to the planks that lead to where you can drop down into secret area #1. Keep fooling around in there. Look up.

Okay, now I know what happened, I used that key somewhere else, found another one nearby, anyway, thanks for answers!

Where? I'm having the same issue but can't find another key.

I have trouble traversing the bouncing balls, do I just have to time my jumps right or use the belt or something? I've already finished the game but I was now reminded I never finished this part

I did the same thing, I used the key for a locked door in the area just previous. I had to find the key that was intended for that door to unlock the one in carrot town.

ISTR finding this pretty hit and miss and took me a few times to get it right. Wasn't really sure what the physics where doing so kind of had to guess which way to actually move to get high enough to reach the platform!
