Report a translation problem
Maybe you could drop a few hints in the form of graffiti, as if another player has left clues behind? Not for the puzzles, of course, but just for these little obstacles.
Perhaps it's just because I've become used to the puzzles being so complicated that I didn't expect it to be that simple.
Edit: I think it's the fact that it looks like a purple DOOR that got me believing that it has to be opened. So that along with the incomplete moons pretty much convinced me it was the only solution.
