Could anyone tell me which abilities I'm missing please?

And hopefully where to get them? I've finished the game, but have now ran into 2 places where Hat Guy is telling me I don't have everything I need. But.. I'm honestly kinda stumped. I know there's the melt beam thing you get once your secondary fire is high enough, and something called "Happiness" which I can't seem to find much info on, but the first would help there, and not sure what happiness is.

Also, likely unrelated, but I know there's a chest on the very tip of the giant sword in the purple crystal pit where the boss was, but I have no clue how to get it. I got both chests on the handle guard.

The last? beam upgrade came as I was in the final boss fighting area so you may have missed one or two. If you break 100 on the beam, I think its enough.

There were only two chests I remember that I needed the melt upgrades, but I was only at 78% at completion so maybe there are a few more. Most of the areas with the metal bars could be reached from the back side.

find the 6th golden barrel, to get that u will need the melting beam though. once u do pretty much everything will make sense to you

Finally finished it, and got the ability. Which is awesome!

But, those 2 rooms are still telling me I'm missing something. The shop dude said to visit his other shops for more goodies, but I went to all of the ones I could remember, and he wasn't at any of them. Is that a glitch maybe? Or is there something else?

One of the beam upgrades in on the top of mountain that has the "Scotty forgot him", hero. In the area of the soccer fields, above the pot with the rainbow coming form it, that u need to 'reset last check point' to get out of.

Alright so, I'm at a loss. I have 10 chests left, I know at least 2 of them are in those 2 rooms. But, hat guy is still telling me I don't have everything I need. Can anyone just spell it out for me? What am I missing?

What 2 rooms are you referring to? Also did you get the chest at the top of the sword? Did you open the door that takes something like 170 awesomeness?

A chest in the 166 awesomes room, and a chest in the same area with that rotating battery platform.

And yes, got the chest on top of the sword.

The regular stomp? Know the area with the graves and forcefields? There's a building there with an NPC that says an important ability is nearby. Look around there.

You need the ability that explodes your purple cube when you stomp it. Cant remember where its at.

You can find it the area were you learn to use the purple beam.
