Problem with mouse sensitivity

The default mouse sensitivity was too high for me so I turned it down using the option menu. When I quit the game, it was suddenly so sensitive I could barely keep the pointer on the screen. I had to adjust Windows 10 pointer speed and the resolution of my Razer gaming mouse to get it back to normal.

Windows has a pointer speed, the mouse itself can have one, games have another one. They all layer on top of each other. If the value in the game is like you set it before, the change was not there.

My point is that when I change the sensitivity using the game menus, I expect it to be restored in the same way when I exit the game. My use of the game menu was the only change I made to mouse sensitivity while playing, so it appears it didn't restore correctly.
