i need a bigger wallet but cant find one for the green moon door i have 360 coins when i need 400 coins i dont know where to look

You find them in chests and from stores. So you will just have to explore a bit to try and find them.

i know the store at home wants a barrel but i have no idea where that is

Well if it is the barrel that most people get last then it isn't a coin upgrade. But if you want to try for it you can find it in the valley behind red village. (good luck though it is a tough one.)

As for finding more coin upgrades all I can say is try and explore previous areas for any puzzles/secret areas you missed.

Both Green Moons require the use of "your most recent tool". The opening for one of them is at "ground level", while the other one requires to go underground a bit.

For the underground bit, you are required to use other equipment which you already have.

That's why you need to press "R" to activate the chest detector you bought just before going on this quest. So it can help you find the chest containing the moon. Then run around the red crystal area until it starts beeping.

It says it right there on your screen, it's the new thing at the end of the toolbar at the bottom that looks like a chest, but it's greyed out because you haven't activated it yet.

Check the surrounding ruins carefully.
