Hints needed! Volcano Chest

Hey everyone!

There is a chest hidden on a ledge in the first volcano scene with the gold nugget puzzle. There is a springboard that needs to be activated and its wire leads right under a rock. It's meant to fling you across the lava past the yellow screen to the ledge where the chest is.

Been on this for hours now, help please!

Ok, jut a bit further along is another jump-pad with a button to activate it. Look directly above the jump-pad, there is a switch. Remember that you can shoot your red gun and the jump-pad will deflect it. Hope this helps.
