I assume 'FoW' is 'Fog of War', but I have no clue what an 'LCI' might be....

Landing Craft Infantry? is my best guess.

Still stuck on Marketgarden, that map is a tough one...

You are correct on LCI meaning Landing craft infantry.

Hi, yes LCI means Landing Craft Infantry. In this context, it refers to NAVAL LANDING cards specifically. Should have made that clearer.

Previously, the rule was that you can have naval landings only in hexes that are visible (not hidden in FoW). This is both not very useful, and also inconsistent with e.g. para drops which you can drop into FoW if you like.

This change removes the inconsistency, and should make the NAVAL LANDING card all that more useful.

Cheers!

That change will make it a bit easier to capture Pola if i recall in the 2nd alt history Italian mission.

I've noticed lots of little patches with this game with no explanation from the devs.

I'm assuming it's bug squashing stuff of little importance, but I also would like more information about what is being updated... maybe it's fixing typos or something else mundane, who knows?

The "testing branch" gets updated several times a week. If you want to help out, you can join the testing, just follow the instructions in the link below. Note that bugs and crashes are possible (likely) in that branch:
https://steamcommunity.com/app/809230/discussions/2/3344417304758621146/

In principle, the default branch only gets updated when we announce the updates (such as Update 11 above). It may still receive hotixes though, if players report something is critically broken.

The other day, we had a player report that the "next unit" button was crashing the game in certain situations, so we hotfixed that issue and pushed an update.

Cheers!

It would help if you guys posted the hotfixes, I noticed one today! Even pinning a hotfix thread and posting to it would be very convenient.

Hotfix 5 is now live! Thanks to everyone who reported issues.

@Adrian: glad you're enjoying it! :)

Update 12 is now ready to go into beta. This is a big update, with lots of new, free content.

I have crossed out the final TODO items earlier today. In the end it was a little late in the day to push it to Steam, so we will do it tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, central European time.

In the meantime, if everyone can take a few minutes to leave a Steam review for the game, that would be greatly appreciated.

It takes certain people only a few minutes to establish that the game is worthless and leave a negative review. At the same time, we have thousands of players at 50+ hours (according to Steam stats)... but only 500 or so reviews total.

If you're enjoying the game, it really helps if you show appreciation publicly with a thumbs up.

Thanks! :)
