What is "Testing Branch" and how do I join?
Hi everybody,

We are now working on bigger updates that require some testing before being released. If you want to help us test, or just check out some of the new features and fixes, you can do so by switching to the "beta" branch.

To make the switch just go to your Steam Library, right-click the game and select 'Properties'. Click on the 'BETAS' tab and from the drop-down menu select 'beta - Branch with untested beta features'.

(To switch back, just follow the same procedure and choose 'None - opt out of all beta programs').

Please use the comments below or open a new topic in this sub-forum to let us know your thoughts on planned features and changes in Unity of Command II "Testing Branch".

Starts out like Hitler did when invading Russia and you quickly run into the Russian heavy armor. You must be careful not to use up the American armor and exploit any breakthroughs, but you have to be careful as the Russian infantry will strike as well as the Armor that will throw themselves across you supply lines. This is a massive map to pay on and you have to use your troops wisely. Great addition to the game. Brings in the "what if" scenario that many have always wondered. Played once and need to play again. The American infantry just cannot stand up to the Russian Armor. I don't know if this is totally accurate, while the Russian infantry in many cases seems to take more punishment.

Played several games and was able to get 3 out of 4 objectives. Usually get my butt kicked. Russians are very tricky as their armor attacks and then pulls back after inflicting major damage. You have to be careful with your infantry as they cannot stand up to the Russian Armor.. Still trying to find the best option for attacking. Great game however and HUGE to play.

Finally beat the Russians! Tough, but learned a little patience and to push carefully and pick my points of attack. The Russian Armor is extremely tough and you have to take your time. Also, you have to keep a HQ out in front and use your para supply as needed. Did it on the 14th turn and held out until the last turn as the Russians at the far West could not attack.

Real large game and challenging!

@leeradical

Yes, units carry over from scenario to scenario in the campaign. You can see how many scenarios a unit has left in the upper left corner of the unit sheet.

Cheers!
