New standalone scenario: Wacht am Rhein!
Experience the Battle of the Bulge from the Axis perspective.

New Features and changes
  • Wacht am Rhein scenario
  • En route HQ and unit locations are now always shown in the En route view (even for units arriving on later turns)
  • Recon in force can now capture 3-step stragglers and HQs
  • Combat shifts are now displayed for Air Attack, Saturation Strike and Naval Bombardment
  • Added danger markers on own units in the Saturation Strike view
  • Reorg steps are no longer counted as casualties
  • Localization update
  • Addition of one purchasable US engineers at each conference in Northern Europe
  • Tool for setting the playable area in the scenario editor
  • Added weather hints to scenario editor
  • Map view UI polish
  • Husky: additional turn
  • Husky: added info on para limitations to briefing

  • Plunder: balance changes

Awesome work. Is there any stuff in here that one could lump together and call 'AI Unit effectiveness balancing'? I ask as I'm not the best of players and struggle sometimes with dug in AI units.

The German scenario is a real bonus, and signs of things to come?

@Steevodeevo: we will be doing balancing work during February. If you have a save file (west.usg) that we can take a look at, please send it to: support at unityofcommand dot net.

The save file is located at: %localappdata%\.uoc2\save\campaigns
(simply paste that string into the Address Bar of File Explorer)

Please add a short description so we can compare with other players sending feedback. Nothing too long, something like: "I have 18 hours logged in the game, am playing on Normal, and I'm having trouble with the entrenched unit in Monte Cassino".

Awesome, but give us save system in every moment, and the ability to do more than one save!
The second thing is the ability to complete the mission without completing each task. Please for this things :)

@tomislav funny you should mention Monte Cassini. The turn one secondary objectives on that mission and Roads from Rome are very very difficult to accomplish and impossible if there is mud or you happen to have all your engineers on leaving units. Please take a look at those.

Regarding various requests here, we are listening: we'll be adding "restart at conference" in update 11, for example. Not everything is possible, but we do read the discussions and consider all suggestions.

For the moment I can confirm that multiplayer over net (i.e. PBEM) is in the works, though probably not for update 11, but one of the later ones.

Thats great news, this is literally the only major thing that bothered me on this game.
