Continous shooting

In all the other Tomb Raider games I have played when you hold down the fire button she will keep shooting until you let it go. For this game I have to pump the fire button and sometimes she wont even fire. It is so hard to pump the fire button and jump at the same time. Almost impossible. Please help.

How? That's the way the game works.

So, you're telling me that this is the ONLY Tomb Raider game that makes you pull the trigger for EACH shot AND one where it doesn't shoot every time time? If that how the game works, that's a first for me in all of the 12+ Tomb Raider games I have played.

they tried some new mechanics with anniversary (which didn't stick) so yeah. single shot per pull and annoying rage mechanic. its a thingy
however I have no issues shooting with an original xbox one controller so missing shots may be an issue with your gamepad(?) have you tried the different combat modes in control options? (manual/advanced hold/..)

sry that was not a metaphor.. enemies build up RAGE with every hit.. when they enrage they stop PLING and then rush towards you and you have to QTE dodge and then shoot when the 2 reticles match. its very annoying imo

To those who helped me, thank you very much. I was quite drunk when I wrote that. My father had a heart attack. We used to play Tomb Raider from the very first game up to Angel of Darkness. When the later ones came out, when the books were available, I would read the big walkthrough book while he played. I forgot the mechanics but now I remember. I forgot how much fun it is. Thank you again.
