Multiplayer?

Can someone break down multiplayer for me as i'm not understand such as can anyone on your steam friends list join you? or can random people join you? thank you in advance!

You creat a room for a friend, your friend joins from the steam friend list
Once your friend joins your game he has no acces to his stash and can't complete quests
So just explore and fight stuff.....he can only use the items he only has on him....again:P

That will basically single playing with 1 exact helper beside.

nah ive been watching coop streams. It is pretty cool. You can exit and retool at your home and then rejoin your coop partner.

But he can access YOUR stash. Be full warned.

so can they loot in my world? and then take it back to their world or ?? how does that all work do we each get our own loot?

Yes, they can loot things in your world, and then just leave with it, and all loot is shared. If they loot something, it's gone for you; it's not to each their own. Keep in mind the game respawns things, but don't ask me the exact system on that as it's a wildcard/doesn't work exactly as stated. (I made a whole thread about it.)

I don't know if the loot system between players is the reason behind that you can only have people from your friend's list join your game or not. Regardless, you don't exactly want to play this game with people you don't trust for this very reason. Assuming that everyone in your friend's list ARE people that you trust anyway.
