When I play music in the background MIRAGE does not respond, why is this and is there a way to fix it?

I play my music but it only starts the visual effects a few seconds after I press play. It is delayed and for that I cannot use it.

but i realized that i cannot change the language of it. there is no language set up on properties. and about my EARLY review of it, i found it has over 0.5 seconds delay when i installed this on NAS. yes, i run most of games on my NAS through SMB. (it can cover over 10Gbps) after i moved it to sub SSD, the delay has gone! (so i guess the core file doesn't stay at RAM...) if you can, please provide me the original lines that used on MIRAGE to improve it. Thank you....

So I use an external USB soundcard to power my headphones and it registers as a separate audio device in my Sound control panel. Mirage is only pulling the Audio from my onboard mobo realtek audio sound device, and not my USB device so i have to change my sound devices to my speakers to be able to actually use the visualizer since it seems to only be reading audio from there. I'd like to be able to switch so i can use the visualizer and while playing my music through my usb device. is that possible?...

I apologize if this has been asked already at some point, but searching turned up nothing, so... why, exactly, is this piece of software in the Free to Play section when it costs $7.99 Canadian?
