AMD Driver Issue?

I played the game no problem with and older NVIDIA card. Then some time ago I upgraded to a more powerful AMD Radeon RX 6600 and want to return to play the DLC. I am running the most recent driver 23.Q!.1 but when I boot I am met with popup saying I need to update my driver to something 21.6.2 or newer. If I just start the game it doesn't recognize the card and just uses the integrated graphics. Has anyone encountered this or have any idea what my issue might be?

No other game seems to have any issues with my card.

I had the same problem with my Rx 5600. Anything past 2022 updates failed to run Eternal. The last usable update for me was 11.22 I've not updated my drivers since.

havent had a issue on my end

but when you got the new Card did you uninstall nivida drivers and clear the registry (with CCLeaner for example)

it could be it

I'm using a 7900XTX with 23.12.1 drivers and have no issues.

Check to see if windows update went and changed your driver, it has a habit of doing that.

Use DDU to properly clean up the graphics drivers:

Then reinstall the newest AMD drivers, and afterwards make sure to force it to use your high performance GPU for DOOM Eternal:

Normally that shouldn't be a problem anymore with newer AMD drivers, but who knows for whatever reason that iGPU usage problem still keeps popping up.

Thanks for the replies. I did use CC Cleaner and uninstalled Nvidia when I swapped cards, and went back and basically did a reinstall of the card drivers when this issue popped up months ago. Since then I didn't worry about it because every other game runs fine, but I got hankering for some chainsaw shenanigans and now want this to run. I will try the force high performance GPU for doom eternal thing next.
