Replay-ability...
As the tittle says, how is the games replayability of DE, is the game basically a one and done (other than finding collectibles).

The games on a fat sale right now but want a game where I can play more than once, I played doom (2016) but found that once I finished had no reason to go back, does DE suffer from the same?

Thanks....

it has lots of replay value and lots of content; dlc campaigns, master levels, horde mode, etc

Depends on you. It has a high skill ceiling, so if getting better, up the difficulty and work towards the perfection you will never reach is something you find interest in, it has endless replayability.

Skill ceiling is crazy high and there's more deph in each mechanic. The way the combat works keeps your brain turned on and thinking so it can stay addicting for potentially hundreds of hours once you get a hang of the basic mechanics.

There's also large amount of map and enemy variety so the last act of the game doesn't feel like a repetitive slogfest either, which was very much an issue in 2016 especially once you got to the Titans Realm. Eternal throws something new at you all the way until the end of DLC2.

2016 handed over a lot power to the player and it made things less engaging and replayable. Eternal fixes that with a sledge hammer, you play like an actual badass but it takes work to get to that point which encourages tons of replays to even grasp what you're capable of and then use it all at once.

TL;DR - Eternal is a properly designed power fantasy compared to 2016, that's what keeps people playing this for hundreds of hours while they might never touch 2016 more than twice after beating.

In addition to all of the above, there's also unlockable cheats, so if you're into that you can literally make yourself an unstoppable god and just replay master levels on the hardest difficulty and shred through everything for fun. It's a throwback in the sense that it has actual unlockable options you can toggle like games used to have, which for me was always a big part of replay value back in the day.

If everything everyone else mentioned isn't already enough, there are mods to add more master levels or even overhaul the entire campaign which can adds new custom demons (e.g Kaisercampaign).

Everyone above already said everything you need to know. I'll just add to it by saying that I hit 1000 hours recently, and I'm still improving. Once you master the combat, nothing else compares.

doom eternal has enough replayability to keep you satisfied until a new doom comes.

You can replay the campaign levels
You can play master levels that is much harder and longer than the campaign levels
You can play horde mode (meh)
You can add mods to have more master levels

If you are going to buy this game, if you can, buy deluxe; it includes base game and two The Ancient Gods dlcs which extends the replayability a lot and adds 6 awesome maps

Nop. If you didn't had replay ability on 2016, you won't have on this one. Don't waste your money and time on DE. Buy something else meanigful and worthy for you. Even if it's a cool shirt that you bought on your favorite store. It will give more ability to replay, that DE will bring in your life time.

there are countless mods and radomizers after you beat everything that is already in the game

If you consider Dance Dance Revolution or Guitar Hero to have replay-ability, then yes.
Cause to me DE has some very annoying game design mechanic where you have to press certain buttons in a certain order every new encounter. Basically the whole map design is made in a very cheesy and linear way that you have to play through in a certain order/way.
Same as Guitar Hero or DDR, you cant play the songs like you want or you will lose points.
That's basically what differentiates DE from other original Dooms.
So yeah, if your brain likes doing the same rota over and over until you "master" it and get better every new round. Then this game has high replay-ability. No questions asked.

100% incorrect, considering you don't own the game & have never played it perhaps you should do something else with your time other than trolling a internet forum?

As for the game it has tons of replay value as mention above from...

> Different difficulties
> Battlemode
> Master levels
> Classic mode
> Horde mode
> DLC's
> Mods

Yeah you mean those mechanics that you made up in your head & that don't exist in the game. Can you actually come up with any sort of argument or is your mind set so petty that you have to troll, claims to work as a side field of psychology yet acts like a child in all of his posts.
