There's also large amount of map and enemy variety so the last act of the game doesn't feel like a repetitive slogfest either, which was very much an issue in 2016 especially once you got to the Titans Realm. Eternal throws something new at you all the way until the end of DLC2.
2016 handed over a lot power to the player and it made things less engaging and replayable. Eternal fixes that with a sledge hammer, you play like an actual badass but it takes work to get to that point which encourages tons of replays to even grasp what you're capable of and then use it all at once.
TL;DR - Eternal is a properly designed power fantasy compared to 2016, that's what keeps people playing this for hundreds of hours while they might never touch 2016 more than twice after beating.
You can replay the campaign levels
You can play master levels that is much harder and longer than the campaign levels
You can play horde mode (meh)
You can add mods to have more master levels
If you are going to buy this game, if you can, buy deluxe; it includes base game and two The Ancient Gods dlcs which extends the replayability a lot and adds 6 awesome maps
Nop. If you didn't had replay ability on 2016, you won't have on this one. Don't waste your money and time on DE. Buy something else meanigful and worthy for you. Even if it's a cool shirt that you bought on your favorite store. It will give more ability to replay, that DE will bring in your life time.
Cause to me DE has some very annoying game design mechanic where you have to press certain buttons in a certain order every new encounter. Basically the whole map design is made in a very cheesy and linear way that you have to play through in a certain order/way.
Same as Guitar Hero or DDR, you cant play the songs like you want or you will lose points.
That's basically what differentiates DE from other original Dooms.
So yeah, if your brain likes doing the same rota over and over until you "master" it and get better every new round. Then this game has high replay-ability. No questions asked.
100% incorrect, considering you don't own the game & have never played it perhaps you should do something else with your time other than trolling a internet forum?
As for the game it has tons of replay value as mention above from...
> Different difficulties
> Battlemode
> Master levels
> Classic mode
> Horde mode
> DLC's
> Mods
I literally said is has replay value, if you like DDR mechanics!
Yeah you mean those mechanics that you made up in your head & that don't exist in the game. Can you actually come up with any sort of argument or is your mind set so petty that you have to troll, claims to work as a side field of psychology yet acts like a child in all of his posts.
Thank you for proving my point.
