Why is the bfg on the friggin weapon wheel?

So far I have really just two major complaints about this game. The first is the marauder, which can be discussed elsewhere. The second is the fact that the BFG is stored on the primary weapon wheel. Why thought this was a good idea? It's terrible. I've fired it so many times by accident. I almost never have ammo, especially since reloads for it are much rarer in this game.

Yeah,I see why it having it's own key in the last game was a good idea.

You can customize the weapon wheel to have different sizes at least.

Tab > Arsenal > Customize weapon wheel (T) > Change the "weapon wheel size"

Not a solve to the problem but good for those players that only use 4 or 6 weapons max.

You can bind bfg to whatever key you want + you can cusromize your wheel

Customizing only lets you use sizes 4, 6, and 8. I need a size 7 weapon wheel.

Yeah unfortunately I use all the weapons, I just keep accidentally firing the BFG.

Nothing I can really say to you except to just NOT fire the BFG when you accidentally pull it out. I, who only uses the weapon wheel and switch to previous weapon keys, have no issue selecting the weapon I need. Never have I accidentally fired the BFG instead of, for example, the Rocket Launcher (as that on the default wheel is next to the BFG). In other words, just get good and practice your weapon switching or use keybinds to select the weapons instead of the wheel.

Once you start doing Ultra-Nightmare attepmts, you forget about the weapon wheel. I didn't use it in 2016, and I don't even have an associated key for it in Eternal.
Maybe the BFG shows on your weapon wheel, because it is a weapon.

not sure how you accidentally fire the bfg my dude. if your playing on default UI colors it even has it's own color to distinguish it from everything else.
