I thought Cacoodemons the worst,when they spawn they try get close and bite you,lot worst when they come in 4 at same time..
Only option using Ballista or rocket launcher...
Cyber Mancubus are worst,you have to knock their armor first,do some rocket launcher or double shotgun firing and finish them with blood punch for extra health..
The hardest part when demons get possessed by ghost,it make them much harder to kill plus demons agility increasing...
Possessed Marauder are the worst,at final boss fight Mkyr of Ancient Gods he would spawn 2 ghost possessed demons,1st run Mancubus and Hell Knight,2nd Phaze Dread Knight and Pain Elemental plus if that not scary enough they would be company by 2 blood mkyr's which is makes things harder.
Avoid those mkyr's at all cost and concentrate at possessed demons and ghosts,in addition there is eye's getting spawned as well which do more damage,taking the eye's and mkyr's would gain more resources..
The end of the first chapter ununderstandable,slayer is copy of dark lord from another world,it like slayer would fight his dark version..
Traps are powerful, use them. I have seen a community Master Level where the creator deliberately placed Tyrants, Barons and double Marauders there while having only Cultist Base starter gear. They are meant to be killed by the trap, not bruteforced.
also cyber mancubus's are a joke compared to normal ones.
When you are first introduced to them, the top of the line optimal tactic is to pummel them with the sticky bombs from your shotgun since it also destroys their guns, effectively removing any potential threat they'd pose.
Mancubus really only becomes a threat when it's paired with other monsters like hell knights and barons who can get "in your face" to stop you from getting a clear shot at the mancubus to disable their weapons.
3 chainsaw strat is very solid on cultist base. I use this in the pit and it cuts the difficulty down dramatically.
